Use oversize stickers or digital word art tomake a big
typography impact on your layout.
Look at the layout of your page and think about
creating homes for each piece of content—one
section for your photo(s), one for your title, and one
for your journaling. This often helpsme organize all
the different elements I want to bring together on
my page.
In a designwhere your title is a very large component
on your page, add a smaller subtitle to help balance
your design and offer additional information about
your story, as I’ve donewith “I love howyou callme
Mama.”

I love how you call meMama—I had this thought a fewweeks
ago after hearingmy daughter callmeMama. For some reason
that feels super special tome, so I wrote the simple phrase “I
love howyou callmeMama” on a sticky note so I could hold
onto that feeling and remember to create a layout around that
sentiment.
I wantmy documentation to reflect those little fleeting
moments. Shemight not always callmeMama, but oh, how I
love it andwant to freeze that feeling in time. Making a page
with that story as the star helpsme do just that.
