birthday
Our own birthday—it arrives everyyear,
whether we are ready for it or not, and it
is an important occasion to commemorate
and include in our scrapbook albums.
To get you started on this all-about-me-
style page, choose a photo that best
represents one of your favouritememo-
ries fromyour birthday celebration. On
Nicole's page, shewanted to remember
how special itwas to spend her 40th
birthdaywith good friends on a girl
weekend in LasVegas. Look around her
page andyouwill see small snippets of
stickers and die cuts that convey how she
felt about thatweekend.
To recreateNicole's angled strips of
patterned paper, trim several strips of
scraps in variouswidths from 1/4" to 1".
Stack them at an angle, one after the
other, and glue them down onto a scrap
of cardstock, then trim into three equal
panels. Rotate the center panel 180° and
adhere the panels toyour page.
