Colour, texture, paper and glue are the things that keep Vicki creating! With a background in Graphic Design and Fine Arts she has always been passionate about making things. Be it layouts, cards, altered items or exploring new techniques, Vicki loves to jump outside her creative comfort zone and give it a try and she will always push you to do it, too! This hobby is all about having fun with your art!   You will often hear Vicki say “sketch, plan, execute” – her scrapping motto!

We asked Vicki to share a little bit about herself…

My favourite colour combination is… all bright ones!!! I love COLOUR!!! Aqua with anything is hot for me right now.

My ideal day would be… spent with a good book in a hammock somewhere quiet or shopping with no spending limit!!!

My dream career is… anything that allows me to be creative.
My favourite snack food is? Ruffle chips and dill pickle chip dip with a diet Coke…yum!

If I was limited to two embellishments, they would be… buttons and stamps, no doubt about it!!!

If I could choose a special location to get away and create, it would be… in a posh hotel with the girls, room service and a great view!  Preferably in Paris! (France not Ontario)

My absolute favourite three products right now are… stamps, rhinestone brads and glitter alphabets!! It’s all about the bling, baby!

One random fact about me is… I like to talk…a lot!!!

A scrap-related tip I would like to share is… don’t set limits on your creativity! Jump out of your comfort zone and try something new every chance you get!!

Vicki has enjoyed a successful career in publication, has worked with a variety of scrapbook manufacturers and has been honoured to be a part of numerous design teams. Her focus over the last few years has also expanded to include creating and teaching a variety of technique based workshops throughout North America and Europe.
