Using Denim in Layouts

Here is Michelle Engel’s project:

I love finding scrapbooking material in my everyday stuff! I used the pocket from a pair of jeans my daughter had outgrown to make this layout. A special shout-out to Janome who has inspired me to sew more often on my layouts by making the best sewing machine I've used!! I sewed around the outer edge of the pocket with clear thread to hold it firmly in place. Then I created my pattern in red thread to both stand out and to use as a guide to place paper flowers and different sized brads. I love the playful look of this and used it to inspire my journaling.
