Using the Studio Calico Anthology Line

I said I would share a little more of the new Anthology line? Well, Studio Calico also released a line of rub-ons. They took some of the more popular stamp images from previous kits and turned them into rub-on images. When they first shared the image of the doily border stamp a couple of months ago with the team, I was really excited. It makes a really fun stamp, and has been made available outside the kits for purchase as well. I also love it as a rub-on. The graphic designer at Studio Calico has such a creative brain! His details are amazing.

I wanted to share a quick image of the rub-ons in the Studio Calico booth, taken by team member Tina Aszmus (http://lifelovepaper.typepad.com)

And here’s a close up of the rub ons. They weren’t created for either of the two Studio Calico lines (Homefront or Anthology) in particular, but match both and hopefully your stash as well. As you can see, each design set comes in several different colors.

I also wanted to share a simple card I made with the Anthology line and images from the type set.

I love working with rub ons! Their versatility and ease to use can make any project easy. Are you scared to use rub ons? Here is a great tip:

Apply them to cardstock and trim them out. Then you can reposition them until you find the right spot. Adhere the cardstock with pop dots for added punch!
