Welcome to the May Colour Suite. If I named my suites I would call this one “vintage appliance”. There is something about this group of colors that brings to mind an old refrigerator I had growing up circa 1976. I am sure the refrigerator was more avocado green but the chartreuse lanterns totally take me back to my childhood.
Lately I have been drawn to blues especially Navy. It was only a matter of time before I included it a Colour Suite. If you have been following along with the Colour Suite you know I often include a neutral; like brown, black or white. Have no fear use the blues in this suite as your neutral base. If you notice I took a few liberties with the colour on my layout. The yellow I used ended up being a little more “buttery” than the colour included in the suite. Remember each suite is subject to your interpretation use your creative license, get inspired and go scrapbook.
