Sweet Birdie Trio
Chirp! Chirp! There's a trio of sweet birdies on a branch! Come and find out how Kim Hughes created this "tweet" project:
Basic Grey makes the cutest favor boxes...and they are SO easy to make. I changed them into decorations, but you can fill them with sweet treats or a small gift.
supplies: favor box, Basic Grey; Dwe Drops, The Robin's Nest; adhesive, Therm O Web; twine, Martha Stewart.
They are all scored to show you exactly where to fold.
Fold the wings behind and through the slits.
Assemble all 3 boxes. Basic Grey even went the extra mile to add a sweet sentiment to the box flaps.
Isn't she cute!
I added two small punches to the top.
I added colored twine to the bird and dew drops to the wings to customize it. I used Therm O Web Zots to attach my Dew Drops to ensure the dew drops remained clear.
And Voila! A trio of sweet chickadees!
You can hang them on your Christmas tree, from your car mirror maybe? They are just SO fun to make... I hope you give them a try!
