In September, 2007, we launched the “Bring a Smile to a Child” campaign in time to support Canada’s Scrapbooking Crop for Kids. We asked paper crafters everywhere to make and donate birthday cards, which we then distributed to Children’s Hospitals across Canada. Our goal was to ensure that each hospitalized child received a card from hospital staff or caregivers on their birthday. Well, the campaign was SUCH a success that we decided to continue it throughout 2008. We have now collected over 1,000 cards, and we are still going strong.
