Stampingwith acrylic paint provides awide range of
colour options and the ability to perfectlymatch your
project. You can control the opacityof the stamped
image by adjusting how hardyou press on the stamp
and howmany times you repeat the stamped image
before reloading itwith paint. Here are some paint-
stamping tips from Emily:
Before stamping on your page, practice and
experiment on a scrap of paper until you are happy
with the results.
If you press too firmlyon the stamp, the paintwill
squeeze out the sides of the image. Press gently
and allow the paint to absorb into the paper before
lifting up.
Acrylic paint dries quickly and is a greatmedium to
usewhen layering.
Thin the acrylic paintwith a bit ofwater for amore
transparent look.
