step one
Die cut an ornate
frame. Position the
negative pieces on
white cardstock using
temporary adhesive.
In a circular motion,
ink the exposed
cardstock with
dye-based ink using a
sponge applicator.

For  added  emphasis, Vicki  outlined
the finished  frame using a  1.0 black
pen. Try this technique  yourself by
following the  steps at  right.
step two
Select a large
background stamp.
Ink the stamp using
the same colour of
ink used to sponge in
step one. Stamp the
design over the entire
exposed area.
step three
Using a shadow
marker (such as
Copic), draw the
marker around the
inside and outside
die cut edge of the
ornate frame. Remove
the negative pieces
and trim the piece to
fit your card.
