Gather your supplies. Stamp a branch onto kraft
cardstock and highlight with a brown pencil.

Following the instructions on page 38, die cut all
of the pieces needed to create the owl. Trim out
the stamped branch.

Cut the oval in half and sew around the inside
edge. Glue onto the bottom of the owl base
and trim excess. Assemble the owl pieces as
shown using foam adhesive.

Die cut four small leaves (1.5") and four medium
leaves (2").

Trim the stem from each die cut leaf. Pair up the
small and medium leaves in contrasting colours.

Sew a running stitch down the centers of two
leaf pairs. and sew large cross-stitching in cen-
ters of two remaining leaf pairs.

Using black ink, stamp the scarecrow onto cream
cardstock and three contrasting patterns.

Trim the scarecrow from the cream cardstock.
Trim various pieces from stamped patterns as
shown.

Using a glue pen, adhere the trimmed pieces to
the cream scarecrow.
