To avoid having the
strong floral paper over-
whelm her page, Kimber
covered a portion of it
with a kraft envelope, which she then used to
build a dimensional, clustered embellishment.
Her flair buttons created an eye-catching triangle
in the center of the page that draws attention to
her photos.

Rather than using the
kraft envelopes as
a storage element,
Christa trimmed off the decorative flaps and
sewed them onto her page. She connected the
two by wrapping baker’s twine around each of
the flap closures. Very clever!
All of the zig-zag sewing details
throughout Christa’s page give it
a real homespun appeal.
