Halloween Glitter Banner

Crystal Jeffrey Rieger, our new Creative Editor, is back again with us today to share a spooktacular project that I know you're going to love! This project would be something I know a lot of you would love to make with your kids.

Here's Crystal with her fabulous project:

Today’s project is a quick and easy Halloween banner with custom glitter accents.

Have you ever made your own glitter embellishments or letters? They are pretty easy to make with adhesive sheets, chipboard and glitter.

Image

Step one: Apply your paper to your chipboard with an adhesive sheet (for edge to edge coverage). Take a second adhesive sheet and apply it to the surface of your paper.

Image

Step two: Die cut or hand-cut your desired shape.

Image

Step three: Peel back the release paper to expose the adhesive. Sprinkle with glitter and shake off excess.

After these simple steps you will end up something similar to this.

With this method there is very little glitter that falls off after because the adhesive sheets hold the glitter very well.
