Yet another thing to do with all of your delicious Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Products! Join Vicki in this workshop where students will discover their inner artist with a variety of watercoloring techniques using…you guessed it…DISTRESS INKS! Come and explore everything from basic watercolor skills like blending, strokes and mixing colors to resist, negative applications and more! All of this artsy fabulousness together with amazing products from the beautiful Documentary line by Dear Lizzy, Wildflower by We R Memory Keepers and Core’dinations Cardstock!! Get ready for a workshop full of the translucent magic of watercolor on a double page layout and a single page layout!
Student Supply List:
- 12×12 paper trimmer
- Ruler
- fine tipped scissors
- favourite adhesive (including 3D foam Adhesive, liquid adhesive like Glossy Accents)
- pencil
- corner rounder
- non-stick craft mat (we will have a few extras in class)
- ink blending tool/make up sponge
- variety of sizes of paint brushes
- paper towels
- heat gun (some will be available)
- large and medium acrylic stamping blocks
- black stamping ink- Archival or Versafine
- mini mister water bottle
- white scrap paper for blending and color practice
Ink used in class- Distress Inks- Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberries, Fired Brick, Worn Lipstick, Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey- reds, yellows, flesh, aqua/blue, green….must be Distress Ink
