Crop & Create Burnaby - Crop Details
We are a few weeks away for Crop & Create Burnaby and on behalf of the whole team, WE ARE SO EXCITED to see you! As you may have some questions, we thought we would provide some additional helpful information for you to consider as you are getting ready.
Parking & Directions: Information regarding parking and directions to the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown can be found here. Parking for guests not staying at the hotel is $10/day so we would suggest car pooling where possible! If you are staying at the hotel the parking is $8.00. A pass will be issued on check in so be sure to ask at the front desk.
Seating arrangements: We will have a first come, first served seating policy however, if you are coming with a group of friends, please send us an email at jen@scrapbookandcards.com and we will place you all together to the best of our ability! Please also let us know if you will have equipment that will require electricity and we will try to accommodate that too.
Class supply lists: These are now available on our website here. If you need additional clarification, please don’t hesitate to let us know!
Lanyards: When you register at the event (and pick up your fabulous “goody” bag!) you will be provided with a lanyard with your name and class information on it. Please be sure to wear it at all times when entering/exiting the crop and also when you attend each class.
On Site Stores: We are excited to have three fabulous stores on site in the Marketplace! Cherish The Thought, Scrapbook Central and The Memory Workshop kit club will be joining us at the event with some incredible deals and fun things planned for you! We will also have Caroline Lau from Maya Road on site with some fabulous make n' takes on Saturday and Sunday!
Challenges: We have many exciting challenges just for you. In order for you to prepare, we will share them with you a few days before the event!
Invite a friend: We still have a few spaces available and would love to share Crop & Create with your friends too! When your friend registers for the event between May 21st and May 31st and lets us know you sent them by sending us an email at create@scrapbookandcards.com we will have an extra special prize just for you! (it’s good...really good!)
Alcohol: As we don’t have a liquor license, we would ask that you not bring any alcohol to either the classrooms or the crop area. The Hilton has several restaurants/lounges for dining and drinks. We are also not permitted to bring outside food into the main crop ballroom.
Dietary Restrictions: If you have any dietary restrictions please send us an email at jen@scrapbookandcards.com and we will try to accommodate any special requests!
Saturday night fun: Don't forget to join us at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday evening for an incredible dessert buffet AND a teacher meet n' greet/make n' take session! Sponsors for make n' takes include Jillibean Soup, Xyron, Doodlebug Designs, Maya Road, American Crafts and Pebbles and more! Be sure to pull up a chair, enjoy some goodies and have some fun with us!
Food included at the event: Saturday we will be serving a gourmet soup, salad, sandwich buffet for lunch which will include tea/coffee and dessert. On Saturday evening we will have an exquisite dessert buffet filled with pastries, chocolate, tea/coffee and more. Sunday morning you will start the day with a beautiful continential style breakfast with tea and coffee too!
Photo booth: Get ready to have many laughs in our Crop & Create Photo Booth! If you have not see the fun pictures, be sure to "like" Crop & Create on facebook and see the good times we have in there. Be sure to bring your cameras to record all the memories!
