Cool Die-Cut Cards

Creating unique cards is fun and Virginia is back this week to show us a fun and easy way to create a shaped card to send to someone special. Here she is with her tutorial:

Here is a great way to make die cut shaped cards or tags. This technique will work best for any die cuts that can cut through through 2 layers of cardstock.

1. Fold your cardstock in half and use a bone folder to press along the fold for a crisp fold. Place the folded cardstock on top of your die cut and position it so that the fold is just inside the shape's cutting edge. This will give you the spine for your die cut card as you cut out the shape.

2. Cut out 2 more die cut shapes. These 2 pieces will be the front and back of your card.

3. Adhere the front and back die cuts to the base shape. Add embellishments.
